Best Project Mentos vs Coca Cola vs Balloons 2018 Adventure? What ...

Today MixMood team went outside to do a soda experiment with water balloons and Coca Cola /Pepsi /Thumpsup . We grabbed our favorite sodas and a bunch of balloons. We chose the Black soda because that is one of my favorite sodas and Liz chose the Coca Cola soda. We took it outside in case it got messy. We put a balloon on top of the soda and shook the soda bottle up. The water balloons started to fizz and foam and started filling up with carbonation and soda! We wanted to see if we could make the balloons pop by filling them with coca cola soda. Liz got her coke bottle and put a mini water balloon on it. The balloon shot up in the air because there was too much power from the carbonation. We tried it again by using a cable tie and tying the balloon on to the coca cola can so we wouldn’t lose it. We put it on the soda bottle and watched the balloon grow. The balloon eventually got too heavy as it filled up with soda that it exploded and popped! It was so awesome and we made a mess.
